Education has been described as a process of waking up to life – waking up to life and it’s mysteries, to it’s solvable problems and the ways to solve the problems, to celebrate the mysteries of life, to the inter dependencies of all things.

Our vision of Education is spelt out as ‘Education for wholeness through faith, love and service.’ Our Foundress Blessed Brigida of Jesus was an awakened educator of her time. She lit a flame to ignite the minds of the girls of her time. Today it is our call to keep this flame burning brightly, lilting its radiance spread everywhere by being living expressions of our charisma through our ministry of education.

With the tremendous advancement in science, technology, communication and computers there has been a rapid deterioration in spiritual, moral and human values resulting in violence, crime, corruption, casteism, blind fanaticism etc. Only a sound mind and value – based life can withstand and fight against such insanities of this society. Looking around and reading the signs of the time, Brigida Morello School has set new paradigms in motion as stress is given both curricular and co-curricular activities which provide a conducive and balanced atmosphere to our young budding citizens for a wholistic education. The education we impart creates in them self-confidence, self-respect and above all self-acceptance. Let every child prove to the society that strength lies in character, perseverance, patience, unconditional love and a deep spirituality which emerges from her/his constant union with the Almighty God in prayer.

It is my earnest desire that every child who enters this temple of learning, aspire to become a true leader who would redeem this ancient land of ours from the present moral crisis and place it in the path of true freedom.
